How NHS Property Services is championing employee-led giving
At Crowdfunder, we believe in unlocking the power of community through innovative giving. That is why we are thrilled to highlight our new partnership with NHS Property Services (NHSPS) and the launch of the NHS Property Services Community Fund through Crowdfunder Connect.
This initiative puts the power of fundraising into the hands of NHSPS employees, giving them the freedom to support the causes that matter most in their communities. With more than 2,500 NHS sites across the UK – from GP surgeries to health centres and hospital facilities – NHSPS staff are deeply connected to local life. Now, they have a simple and secure way to give back to the communities they serve.
A new way to give, driven by community voices
The NHS Property Services Community Fund marks a shift from previous fundraising efforts that focused on a single charity partner. In response to employee feedback, NHSPS and Crowdfunder have introduced a more flexible, inclusive approach. Colleagues are now encouraged to nominate and support local and national charities that align with their personal passions and community needs.
Each campaign is hosted on the Crowdfunder platform, where fundraising is securely managed without individuals needing to handle money themselves. Every effort is also linked to the wider NHSPS campaign, creating a shared sense of purpose and enabling everyone to see the total impact of their collective giving.
Built around people and purpose
This programme is part of NHSPS’s Responsible Business strategy, which is focused on improving health and social outcomes in the communities where they operate. It reinforces a place-based approach to giving and enables staff to take the lead in shaping how and where support is delivered.
Through the Community Fund, NHSPS employees can:
Create and manage their own fundraising pages
Promote causes close to home
Rally support from colleagues and their wider networks
A shared belief in local impact
